Introduction

My professional career in the mental/behavioral health field began in 2005. It has been a rewarding experience that continues to expand my interest and competencies. I have had the honor to meet and work with many varied individuals through a variety of professional settings. I have a passion to help individuals who have experienced trauma of human trafficking victimization to help them heal through surviving & eventually thriving in a meaningful life they desire to maintain. I offer a safe space to heal & not be judged while building self worth & work through other areas of trauma endured & been exposed to. I am huge on recognizing a person's strengths & empowering others, which gets incorporated into my practice. This specific passion expands to other types of trauma, ADHD, families, couples, anxiety, depression, etc. I enjoy helping those who have been misunderstood & offer emotional validation. I tend towards using integrative modalities & approaches that fit each of my clients in order for them to feel empowered and to have individualized healing attended to. The main ones I utilize consist of focusing on strengths, being present with the client, and meeting the client where he/she is at in their therapeutic journey.
