Introduction

Becoming a parent can be simultaneously the most rewarding and most challenging time in your life. You may be struggling with conception, or you just gave birth and are experiencing scary and debilitating depression or anxiety, or maybe you’ve lost who you are in all the roles you’re playing (mother, partner, employee) and you want to find yourself again without feeling guilty about it. Or maybe nothing is “wrong” but everything still sucks. I specialize in treating all facets of maternal mental health and wellness, from Millennial/Generation Z life transitions, to conception, infertility and loss, through pregnancy and postpartum. I strive to create a space where you can come just as you are- messy bun, covered in spit up, dropping f bombs if you need to, baby in your arms if that’s what feels good. And also a space where it’s not only safe but encouraged to say the scary thoughts out loud, a place where you can drop the social media filter and say that being a new mom is hard, that it’s not what you expected or were told it would be like and that you’re struggling with rage or intrusive thoughts that you were not prepared for. Even though I can relate to coping with the new normal of parenthood (twin toddlers are no joke), YOU are the expert on your own life story. I don’t believe that any of my clients need to be “fixed”, but rather that with support we can work to identify underlying blocks that may be holding you back from feeling fulfilled and that we can raise awareness to unconscious processes that are impacting your relationships with others and your relationship with yourself. I understand that carrying the weight of your journey alone can feel insurmountable at times and my goal is to join your village and help you bravely own your story.
