Specialties: Couples Counseling, Anxiety, Infertility, Pregnancy, Prenatal, Postpartum, Depression,

Introduction

Approaching therapy from a nonjudgmental, empathetic, and accepting perspective, Ashley Householder (LMFT), has experience working with parents, couples, the LGBTQ community and multicultural families in areas such as infertility, communication, and building trust. From helping parent/child dynamics solve communication challenges to guiding couples towards a deeper emotional connection, she walks with people through their chapters in life. Not only is she trained for couples and families, these issues can also be transferred into individual therapy. Ashley is systemically trained, with an eye to see your family and chosen family, your history, and the world at large. She also seeks to continuously learn and develop skills outside of sessions. She is trained in Gottman Method (Level 2) along with CBT and Emotional Focused Therapy. Outside of sessions, Ashley enjoys art, travel, researching family ancestry, exercise, and being with loved ones. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for over 7 years. Together, they have a dog named Scotch. Ashley is always looking for great food and activity recommendations in Memphis.
