Ashley Livitz, LCSW, has always been passionate about helping others help themselves. Ashley earned her Bachelors in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. She made her way to NYC to further her training and obtained her Masters in Social Work at New York University. Ashley uses her creativity and warmth to meet the social-emotional needs of others. She is communicative and personable, with a strong understanding of the power of person-centered care. She uses a strengths-based approach and integrates skills from her trainings in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness to develop individualized treatment plans and goals. As a therapist, Ashley is committed to providing personalized care that meets the individual needs of each client. She works with adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, and other day-to-day challenges. Her practice is focused on creating a safe, collaborative, and empowering environment that encourages clients to show up as their authentic selves. Her goal is to help clients identify their strengths and develop practical coping skills to navigate life’s daily stressors and overcome the greater obstacles. Ashley recognizes therapy as a powerful tool in helping clients gain self-awareness and ultimately make positive changes in their lives.
