I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Mental Health Counselor-In Training and a Substance Abuse Counselor-In Training. I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Substance Abuse and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Over the last year and a half, I have worked in a therapeutic setting, as an intern, helping clients discover what comes next in their journey. I enjoy working with children 10+, adolescents, adults, and couples. My clinical interests lie in treating anxiety, depression, abuse and trauma, crisis and PTSD, relationship issues, eating disorders, stress management, self-esteem and general life transitions. I view the client as the “expert” and work in a collaborative, strength-based approach to assist the client in discovering what the next chapter may hold. Creating a safe and supportive environment is one of my top priorities to help clients build insight, achieve balance, and work towards their goals. In practicing my own self-care, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our daughter, and our three dogs. I also enjoy listening to music, watching movies, and traveling the world.
