I am a Professional Counselor Associate with the Oregon Board of Licensed Counselors and Therapists (OBLCT) working toward obtaining my license. I am a graduate of Western Oregon University (WOU) and Oregon State University (OSU), receiving my Bachelor of Arts in psychology and sociology and my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. I have been practicing for three years serving a diverse clientele. My clientele have included individuals that identify with the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities. Those experiencing houselessness, depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder, trauma, and developmental disabilities. Ages ranging from 13 years to 60 years old and in all walks of life. I identify as BIPOC, female, and as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. I am a native Oregonian and enjoy the great outdoors, books, and movies. I have lived in Houston, Texas for 2.5 years where I was a foster parent. Upon returning to Oregon I continued my journey as a foster parent. I have two children both whom are at very different stages in life. I have worked in the public education system at the high school level in various roles within the Special Education Program supporting students, staff, families, and other community members. With my personal and professional experience I believe I can support you in the healing and growth that you seek.
