Introduction

HI! I am an LCSW with over a decade of experience. My calm demeanor and authenticity allow me to connect with people easily and make them feel safe. My therapeutic framework is a mix of many theoretical perspectives including CBT, feminist and mindfulness based practices, but I'm grounded in the humanistic approach of unconditional positive regard towards all human beings. I work hard to provide my clients with a safe and trusting place to process their thoughts, emotions and grief. I work collaboratively with my clients to set goals, build new skills and identify opportunities for growth. I recognize what a privilege it is for you to trust me with your vulnerability and honor that by meeting each client with empathy and acceptance. I particularly love working with women on issues of self-esteem, codependency and boundaries to help them realize their innate worth/value and cultivate a life that is true to their authentic selves. I am happy to meet clients in person at my office in Santa Cruz or online. I also offer walking therapy, so if you are someone who loves to be outside we can find a trail nearby and get out in nature! Some fun facts about me: I was born and raised in the Bay Area. I am a wife and mother of a 4 year old girl and love living in the mountains. In my free time I enjoy baking, hiking and wine tasting. I'm a homebody and introvert by nature so outside of my profession I can be pretty shy! I hope we can set up a time to chat and see if it would be a good fit!
