Introduction

Hello there! My name is Ashley and I am a Clinically Licensed Social Worker whose clinical expertise is working with children and families. For over a decade I worked primarily in the child welfare system (foster care & adoption) addressing child abuse & neglect, trauma, and maladaptive family dynamics. I also have specialized education and training in early childhood mental health, neurodevelopmental disorders, neurodivergent play, alongside a variety of different play therapy modalities, with a passion for early intervention. In addition to working with children, I enjoy working with teens transitioning to adulthood and with women in their reproductive years, and specifically in perinatal mental health. Clinical Social Work is all about working yourself out of a job, and my goal is always for my clients to thrive in the world long after our time is finished. A huge part of a successful therapeutic relationship is how the client feels about their therapist; to make sure your therapy is the most effective, please schedule a consultation call to see if we are a good fit.
