Introduction

Have you lost someone, experienced a significant change in your life, or find yourself feeling overwhelmed by what life has thrown at you? I’m here to support you in finding your new normal and help you feel less alone. As your therapist, I will work together with you to help you get from where you are to where you want to be. I specialize in issues of grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, sexual abuse, parenting, and overall life transitions. I am here to provide support and accompany you on your path toward healing. Healing is about more than just surviving, it’s about finding better ways to cope, acceptance and growth; and it can take time and extra support to get there. My therapeutic style relies on authenticity, empathy, and trust to provide a supportive environment for growth and change. I approach therapy as a collaboration and offer a space that is trauma-informed and free of judgement, recognizing the value and uniqueness of your life experience. I use clinical approaches like EMDR, psychodynamic theory, attachment-based therapy, mindfulness, and cognitive-behavioral interventions. I work primarily with adults but have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and families; and have provided therapy in a variety of settings including schools, hospitals, and community mental health centers. I currently work exclusively through telehealth for clients based in Oregon or Illinois.
