Introduction

We all struggle from time to time in our lives including people with special needs or disabilities. My life’s work is to help all people improve their lives. As a licensed professional counselor my goal is to help you or your loved one discover tools to help empower themselves through life’s struggles that they are facing. I get energized to work with young adults and adults who are facing challenges with life transitions, relationship concerns, adjusting to changes like college, moving, anxiety, and depression. Working previously as a special education teacher, professional school counselor with students at multiple levels, abilities and needs has given me many tools to help you or your loved one overcome obstacles. I focus on my clients as a whole person. It is very important to me that we discuss nutrition, exercise, sleep and connection with others. All of these factors affect our mental health and more. Along with this I use an integrative approach to working with individuals that includes Solution Focused, Reality and Somatic therapies addressing issues such as struggling to cope with change, managing emotions, relationships issues, academic difficulties, anger, and behavioral issues. My goal is to help you along your healing journey to have your reach your fullest potential. I can't wait to start working with you and I look forward to meeting you.
