Introduction

As a Health Psychologist, I have a unique set of skills that allow me to understand and address the interactions between mind and body. That means that I can help you navigate difficult emotions and teach you ways to cope with physical symptoms or treatment side effects. I have worked with many individuals coping with a medical diagnosis (cancer, diabetes, burn injury, heart disease). I am familiar with medical jargon and will not shy away from addressing difficult topics. I also have experience providing support to loved ones caring for a patient with chronic illness. My approach combines a caring, non judgmental stance with research-based treatments. My main goals are to provide support, improve your quality of life, and help you re-connect with yourself, others, and the things that bring meaning to your life.
