Introduction

I am a licensed mental health counselor (LH6060868) in WA state with over 20 years of experience working with individuals and couples. As a therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. I create a safe and supportive environment where you feel empowered to explore your thoughts and feelings. I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy where we work together to develop effective strategies for coping and growth. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Existential psychology. I adapt my therapeutic approach to meet your unique needs. I am a level I Gottman certified therapist and use his methods in working with couples. I am also a trauma specialist and certified in Prolonged exposure therapy in treating PTSD, trauma and phobias. I recognize that each person's journey is unique. In our work together, I will foster a warm and supportive therapeutic environment where you can feel emotionally safe to express yourself. I believe that empathy and understanding are foundational to the healing process, and I strive to connect with you on a deep level to address your emotional needs.
