As a Marriage and Family Therapist my approach is systemic and strength-based. I believe in human connection as the most important factor to our own happiness and the health of families and communities. In my work with clients we strive to identify the unique strengths and abilities that will help them cope with life's challenges and build stronger relationships. I work with teens, adults, couples, and families on a wide variety of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, and trauma. Depending on client preferences I include aspects of Narrative, Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT), and Solution-Focused therapy in my sessions. I have received additional training in CBT as well as Gottman couples work. Besides my love for systemic and relational work, my passion is working with clients who have experienced trauma. I combine Trauma-focused CBT with Narrative story-telling to reduce the symptoms of trauma and help clients reclaim their stories.
