Introduction

Hi, I’m Becky! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor holding licenses in both South Dakota and Minnesota. We all find ourselves on a difficult path at some point, but that path doesn’t have to be walked alone. When we take a moment to sit back, gather a better understanding of ourselves and the world around us, nurture self-compassion, & integrate practical coping skills that's when the real healing happens and we start to live our best self. I am here to work with you as a collaborative partner on this journey. I work with people ages 18 and older. I have over 20 years of experience working with individuals and couples. I assist people with a wide range of issues, including, but not limited to depression, anxiety, relationships, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), grief, personality disorders, and stress management. While I have a varied range of experience, I primarily practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am a certified facilitator for Prepare Enrich (www.prepare-enrich.com). I am also certified in Critical Incident Stress Management and Debriefing (www.icisf.org) as well as being a Certified First Responder Counselor (www.firstrespondercounselor.com). I strive to create a non-judgmental and caring environment to help you feel comfortable in exploring how you show up for yourself and in relation to others. Identifying a need for help and reaching out can be scary and overwhelming. Congratulations on moving towards wellness!
