Rather than the four walls of a therapist's office, Bella Terra Stables offers a unique therapeutic experience in nature with horses through Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy. This powerful experiential approach to therapy and can stand alone and also compliment traditional talk therapy. Believing the best solution comes from within, Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy uses a distinctive, experiential framework designed to allow clients the latitude to discover, learn, and grow from the horse-human relationship. Our treatment team includes horses, a licensed Mental Health Professional, and a certified Equine Specialist who all work together to create an emotionally safe space in which clients can explore lasting solutions to a range of personal challenges. Ilse Eisele, LPC, facilitates the Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy experience as the licensed Mental Health Professional. Her experience of living abroad in Papua New Guinea, Australia, and Austria, laid a strong foundation for compassionate service and an informed global perspective on the human conditions of suffering and healing. Amber Power is the third generation of horse professionals in her family to make Murrysville, PA her home after returning from a 20 year career as the General Manager of Rock Creek Park Horse Center, Washington DC's only public stable. She has facilitated the healing power of horses for decades and her gentle way with horses and humans makes the therapeutic experience unique.
