Life provides us with an endless stream of challenges, some of which we can face more easily than others. At times we may need a supportive space to work through those challenges. Whether you are facing anxiety, depression, grief, major life transitions, or other challenges that you may not even have a name for, therapy can provide a space to better understand what you are facing, what your options are for moving through it, and what's possible on the other side. My approach to therapy is person-centered, based on meeting the client where they are and with what they would like to get out of therapy. My approach is also holistic, considering the impact of all aspects of a person's life on their mental health. I also have particular interest in grief work, meaning-making, and existential psychotherapy. I am always in admiration of the brave step involved when someone begins therapy, being willing to face and address some of their greatest difficulties by reaching out to someone they don't yet know. I am also always excited when someone takes this step, because it is the first step toward the possibility of healing and growth.
