In my practice, I draw on attachment theory and emotion-focused therapy as the foundation for helping clients explore past behavioral patterns and underlying emotional experiences. I strive to be a secure attachment base for my clients, providing guidance and support as they work through their challenges with the ultimate goal of self-exploration and alleviating human suffering. My approach is both direct and compassionate, as I believe that emotions, when properly understood, offer valuable insights into our environment and ourselves. My diverse professional experience spans community mental health, school settings, PHP, IOP, short-term residential, long-term transitional care, and I’ve had the privilege of contributing to academia by teaching master’s-level courses in an MFT program.
