Introduction

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with over 30 years experience. I am currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. I am frequently described as warm and down to earth. I have spent most of my life in a continued process of self discovery. It is my passion. I am committed to my own growth and continued transformation along this glorious and challenging path of life. I believe that these elements allow me to create a safe, holding container for you to explore your internal self, while ultimately helping you access your ability to heal, self actualize, and to live life with happiness and satisfaction. Human beings have an innate ability to heal, we just need to learn how to access it. Our bodies, minds, and hearts seek stability, peace and ultimately joy. When we get our bodies grounded our thought processes slow so that we can live and think with more ease. I work first with your nervous system's capacity and reconnect your system into its own grounding presence. My specialties include PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief/bereavement. Somatic Experiencing (SE), Dynamic Attachment Reattachment Experience (DARE), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness are how I practice and help you attain health. I also work with the expanded perspective of spiritual psychology.  When life's circumstances are understood in the larger context of a soul's journey toward wholeness, then one can consciously use these circumstances as a gateway to their own transformation. There is a safe place within you and around you to embrace and hold close regardless of what you have experienced or what you are suffering through. It is as accessible as your fingertips and the methods I use with you can help you achieve your full, integrated self; mind, heart, body and spirit. I often share with my clients the potential we have in being fully here, realized and embodied. We are ALL on a journey, but not a single one of us can do it alone. I'm honored to be of help in any way I am able and invite you to connect for a free consultation.
