Introduction

Beth is an Outpatient Psychotherapist at Greenwood Psychotherapy seeing clients virtually through telehealth. She earned her undergraduate degree at Meredith College in Psychology and her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Grief and Loss at Pace University. Beth is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC, NC-10703) who has worked in numerous areas of healthcare and draws on these experiences in sessions. Her experiences include Eating Disorder Treatment, Substance Use including Professional Monitoring, Autism - Applied Behavioral Analysis - ABA, Recruiting, and Training, and Community Mental Health. Beth’s approach to therapy is to come alongside you as you explore the thoughts, feelings, urges, and actions in your life. She draws from theoretical approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gorski-CENAPS Relapse Prevention, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. Beth combines approaches to integrate the mind and body and not ‘just talk.’ Her areas of clinical training and experience are grief and loss, eating disorders, substance use, mood and anxiety disorders, autism, referrals for higher levels of care, parents and folks navigating treatment including Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). When Beth is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and two furkids (Baxter and Bradie). She loves to go for walks with friends to check out the greenway or a coffee shop. Beth appreciates a great breakfast, the beach or really any body of water, organization, and monograms! Beth operates from a Health at Every Size (HAES) lens. All of you is welcome and matters.
