I am a queer clinical social worker with over ten years of experience supporting queer, trans, and nonbinary individuals in therapeutic settings. I am dedicated to the movement toward decolonizing mental health and therapy spaces. I often work with queer, transgender, and nonbinary individuals and their loved ones, with a focus on trauma (including religious trauma), navigating life transitions and sociopolitical/cultural stressors, and OCD. I provide gender-affirming surgical evaluations free of charge. I do not have a waitlist for surgical evaluation appointments. My therapeutic style incorporates how systemic and relational dynamics impact our lives as well as our internal experiences. I provide somatic techniques, parts work (internal family systems), and acceptance commitment therapy tools as ways to invite reflection, curiosity, and emotional processing to your experiences. I provide a collaborative approach to therapy that builds off of your strengths and respects your autonomy. I look forward to the possibility of working with you on your journey toward healing, learning and/or growth, whatever that may mean to you. If you would like to know if we would be a good fit together, please contact me for more information.
