Introduction

I am a clinician with 20+ years of counseling experience working with adolescents, adults and couples via telehealth across Maine, Virginia and North Carolina. Areas of expertise include: adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, grief and loss issues, terminal/serious illness, divorce/separation, parenting, relationship issues, healing from trauma, living with major mental illness, LGBTQ+ issues. co-occurring disorders, gambling/behavioral addictions and life transitions. I have a passion for health and wellness and see this as an integral aspect to achieving balance and stability in one's life. I see myself not as an expert, but rather a partner in a journey of healing and recovery. So much happens in life that is unexpected and difficult, that none of us should have to go it alone. I am here to support as I believe whole-heartedly in people’s abilities to heal themselves and create a vision of the future that is uniquely their own. I offer telehealth services only (video-conferencing or telephone-based). I realize this is new for some, but have found it convenient, low-barrier and cost-effective. Years of research indicate it is just as effective as in-person services. Counseling is offered as a self-pay service at $150-200/hr (individual-couples' rates) per 60 minute session. Some insurances accepted as well. I look forward to speaking with you soon. In the meantime, please remember: "The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." -Lao Tzu
