Introduction

Hello, and welcome to Beacon Psychiatry! My name is Bettina Ryan and I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner (ARNP, PMHNP-BC). I offer a holistic, therapeutic approach to medication management to individuals from age 6-years and older for various mental health concerns, including mood dysregulation (depression, bipolar); anxiety; neurodiversity (ADHD, Autism); LGBTQIA+ related concerns; trauma; psychosis; and more. I empathize with your mental health and medication experiences and concerns and I offer support, education, and options related to your unique situation. I come to our sessions informed, willing to listen, learn, and work together to achieve your medication and mental wellness goals. Although I focus on medication management, I also incorporate alternative interventions when appropriate/desired as part of an integrated, holistic approach. I engage in collaborative care, working with you, your therapist, and other care providers to ensure safe, effective, and comprehensive treatment specific to your unique mental health needs and goals. I value and respect you as an individual, and appreciate your insight and personal experiences. I strive to be a partner along your wellness journey. I will be your teammate, and help empower you to make the best, informed decisions regarding your medication choices and mental health. I look forward to working with you. Together, we will find your light!
