Introduction

Hi, I graduated from North Carolina Central University with a master’s degree in counseling and has 12 years of counseling experience. Beverly is licensed in NC. I am licensed in North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I graduated from North Carolina Central University with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2013. I have experience working with adults with depression, anxiety, substance abuse and relationship issues. It is important for the client and therapist to feel a natural connection. The passion I have for working with clients creates a natural compassion, which will generate a nonjudgmental environment where you will feel safe to explore your feelings. I utilize an eclectic approach including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness based cognitive therapy (MBCT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution focused brief therapy (SFBT), narrative, and humanistic. Thank you for considering me as someone to collaborate with on your path to emotional wellness and a fulfilling life!
