Supporting people during the prenatal, pregnancy and postpartum phases of life is my area of specialty. I also work with people who are living with infertility. The transition into parenthood or the longing to be a parent can be emotionally complex and can lead to pre natal, pregnancy or postpartum depression and anxiety. In the postpartum and beyond, parent support is another aspect of my work. Parenting can stir the silt of one's own history. It is an opportunity to understand how our histories can be impacted by the present moment. If you are experiencing difficulties such as these, please consider contacting me for support. I work relationally, which means that we, together, work on whatever challenges present themselves for you. I am trained in Internal Family Systems, EMDR and Sensory Motor PsychoTherapy. My primary lens is IFS parts work with a grounding in attachment, trauma and somatic activation. I also make use of mindfulness, meditation and the use of the present moment. I have worked as a postpartum doula and as an Early Intervention social worker which gave me insights into the challenges faced by a new or growing family. I also work at the Cutchins Children's Clinic with children and their families. Work with children supports working with the young parts of adult clients as they get stirred in daily life.
