I am a licensed marriage and family therapist-associate, by the state of Texas, supervised by Kristin Ross, Ph.D., LMFT-S, AAMFT Approved Supervisor. As a first-generation Nigerian-American, I bring a unique perspective to my practice, providing therapy for individuals, couples, and families. I work primarily with mother-daughter dyads, sexual assault survivors, Generation Z, first-generation immigrant populations, and high conflict families. My therapeutic approach is centered on helping clients move from pain to peace, uncover their truths, and restore their relationships with themselves and others. I practice Restoration Therapy, and combine a blend of attachment theory, emotional regulation, and mindfulness-based interventions to move my clients to their preferred futures. For the last 3 years, I have worked in public schools, community mental health, and private practice, affording me the range to work with people from all walks of life. When I am not seeing clients, you can find me speaking on podcasts, or presenting to groups, on intersectionality within mental healthcare, amongst other pressing topics.
