I believe we all have the ability to heal from emotional suffering, and that we sometimes need a little help to do so. I can help you find relief from emotional suffering and change unwanted behaviors. Through a variety of techniques, I can help you adjust thought processes, decrease the intensity of emotions, change behaviors, learn new skills and begin to experience a sense of peace and balance in your life. I have experience working with adults, adolescents, couples and families with a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges. My areas of specialty include the treatment of anxiety, depression, eating disorders, substance abuse, trauma and relationship issues. I draw from a variety of therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioral and mindfulness-based practices. I am intensively trained in EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Radically Open DBT. I have a true passion for teaching not only clients, but their loved ones learn the skills to manage challenging life situations.
