Hello, I'm Blake. I'm a therapist based in Boulder, Colorado who enjoys helping people find more freedom in their lives. I use somatic, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based modalities to help process challenging emotions and discover new ways of being in the world. My approach to therapy is embodied, trauma-informed, and deeply respectful of the whole person who is sitting in front of me. I have specialized and ongoing training in the Neuro-Affective Relational Model (NARM), a therapeutic technique that focuses on addressing attachment, relational, and developmental trauma (Complex PTSD). This modality can help us to work on a deeper level to gently explore the root causes of anxiety, depression, stress, addiction, shame, low self-worth, isolation, and relationship difficulties. NARM holds the view that every person has within them the capacity to connect to their inherent sense of wholeness and aliveness. The only things standing in the way of this connection are outdated survival strategies that no longer serve us. Understanding these strategies and how to let them go can help us foster our connection to our authentic selves and our intrinsic life force. I look forward to the possibility of undertaking this profound work together. OFFICE LOCATION: 1650 38th St #100e, Boulder, CO 80301 https://www.highersightscounseling.com/locations
