I've been connected with social work for more than twenty years. In that time I've had the privilege of working with individuals and families to identify solutions to the problems in their lives and create pathways to healing and personal growth. I utilize evidenced-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). These mindfulness-based approaches to recovery help reconnect the mind and the body and provide a foundation for integrating emotions and rationality.
