Introduction

During the past decade that I have practiced as a psychotherapist, I have focused on providing support to late teens to adults struggling with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-harm, trauma, and overall life changes. I help my clients feel confident in themselves and develop self awareness and walk with them as they journey through life's challenges. Over the years, I have worked with people from all works of life, culture, and background including Africans and the BIPOC community. My therapeutic approach is collaboration focused on self-efficacy I am trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR),Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS), and certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to treat personality disorders, self harm, suicidal behaviors, depression, and trauma. For a lot of us, engaging in therapy is a huge step, we feel discouraged or that we have failed either as a parent, child, spouse, worker, or even as a person. It is never too late to reclaim your life and find peace and fulfillment as you navigate through life's obstacles.
