Introduction

Is it time to change your relationship with alcohol or other drugs? If so, I'm here to help. I help people get their life back on track. I offer personalized Counseling for gay men who are struggling with alcohol (and other drugs). Are you longing for a space where your unique experiences as a gay man are understood and embraced? Where the conversation flows freely, without fear of judgment? That's precisely where harm reduction counseling comes in—a beacon in the haze, guiding you back to the right track. A large body of evidence suggests that treatment and recovery strategies that reduce heavy alcohol consumption and alcohol-related consequences without complete abstinence can be effective in mitigating the harms associated with alcohol misuse for many individuals. Today, although abstinence is the safest course for specific subgroups, harm reduction strategies that are non-abstinence-based have become an essential part of the discussion around treatment and the recovery process. This can be complicated to figure out, and having an expert guide is essential in determining what will work for you. Again, no cookie-cutter approach here! You're not alone on this trek; your pace is honored here. We're not just talking about 'getting better.' We're focusing on getting YOU back—on your terms, in your unique way. Isn't it time to take back control and stride toward a life that sparkles with possibilities? Regarding payment for services, I can bill virtually any insurance plan for you. Please inquire about your specific policy.
