Introduction

"Hello, I'm Brandi Taylor, a licensed clinical social worker dedicated to helping individuals navigate their personal journeys towards healing and growth. With a background deeply rooted in the helping professions, I bring over six years of experience working closely with diverse communities. My career began at the Department of Human Services, where I served as a compassionate case manager. Later, I became a Career Specialist at Porter Leath, assisting individuals on welfare paths to meaningful employment. At the Family Safety Center, I worked as a Navigator, supporting survivors of intimate partner violence with empathy and advocacy. In 2018, I earned my Master's in Social Work, and since then, I've focused extensively on trauma therapy, specializing in working with individuals living with HIV/AIDS. My approach includes facilitating trauma groups, advocating for victims of crime, and utilizing therapeutic modalities such as EMDR and DBT. I believe in the transformative power of empowerment. Together, we'll collaboratively set goals aimed at helping you become the best version of yourself. My style is laid-back and compassionate; I'm known to express passion with occasional colorful language, always rooted in care. I value honesty and accountability, challenging you when necessary and providing unwavering support as you achieve your goals. I won't do the work for you or give you all the answers. Instead, I'll walk beside you, offering guidance and encouragement as you navigate your path to healing. Let's work together to discover your strength and resilience."
