Introduction

Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with depression, or dealing with the effects of trauma? My name is Brandon, and I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate their mental health journeys. My career in mental health counseling began after teaching high school English, where I discovered my true calling to support and guide others in a more holistic way. I specialize in working with individuals of all ages who are dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma. My approach is client-centered, focusing on creating a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. In our sessions, I aim to provide meaningful impact by helping you develop coping strategies, gain new perspectives, and achieve personal growth. Whether you're facing a specific challenge or seeking to improve your overall well-being, I'm here to support you every step of the way. Let's work together to help you live your best life. I also have specialized training in supporting children and teens with their anxiety, mood, and emotional problems. I'm trained and certified in an evidence-based practice called the Unified Transdiagnostic Protocol for the Treatment of Emotional Disorders in Children and Adolescents (we just call it "The UP" for short) and have found it to be very effective in supporting children, teens, and their families through whatever problems they're facing. This protocol also provides parental tools, skills, and support for those interested in expanding their toolbelt, too. It's rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but pulls in practices from a lot of sources, like mindfulness, exposure and response prevention, and so much more. I really enjoy this approach because it allows us to work together on a more holistic sense of wellness while also teaching tangible life skills like problem-solving, how to handle worried thoughts, and what to do when an emotion, thought, or behavior might be an issue and how to handle it. The best part? It's a little more hands-on, so it's a more active type of treatment that works well for those who don't just want to sit there and talk the whole time. A lot of the skills I teach kids, teens, and parents really translate into helpful tools for all ages and walks of life. There's an adult version of this treatment, too. So whether you're just starting out in life or have been on this journey for a while, if you're looking for someone compassionate, warm, and dedicated to helping you achieve lasting, positive change and find peace, then this might be a good fit for you. Taking the first step is always the hardest part, so take your time - and when you're ready, I'll be here. In the meantime, I hope that you and yours are happy, healthy, and thriving. With gratitude, Brandon Wise Masters
