It is my call in life to create a safe place to learn why you think or behave the way you do...To learn tools and skills to deal with your negative thoughts and any destructive behaviors. We can all learn to establish healthy, positive relationships. My goal is to provide a warm, safe, inviting environment where your thoughts, actions and feelings can be explored. Throughout the counseling process there would be an opportunity to be empowered so you can reach your goals and establish a sense of well being. I serve those who are dealing with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, chronic illness, vocational and career challenges, PTSD, mood disorders, divorce care, parenting issues, parents of children with developmental disabilities, adults with developmental disabilities, etc. I have experience in Pastoral Care/Counseling/Chaplain work in the Christian faith. While I serve those who are Christian, I also serve those who are not. Choosing to incorporate your personal faith beliefs into the counseling process is your decision. We can explore how those beliefs inform your thinking.
