Regardless of our spoken beliefs, principles and intentions towards how we show up in the world, the biochemical composition of our emotions reveal the underlying stories that our bodies hold; often in a stuck and rutted manner. Relational and Somatic Therapy creates a safe space for those stories to be witnessed, allowing the energy of those emotions to be moved through the body's system - heard, seen and held in such a way that can be soothed and relieved and transformed. Through embodiment and processing we grow capacity for the complexity of our structure without over-identifying with it, making space in our system for emergent and more empowered stories that are held by a grounded, secure, autonomous, actualized self.
