Yolotli Counseling was founded by myself, Brenda. I am a first generation College graduate, a child of immigrants, a lover of music, lover of travel, the arts, and loving people where they are. I was born and raised in Pasadena, the eldest of three children, born of hard working Mexican immigrants that came to this country looking for the opportunity to thrive. My parents instilled the power of education and the importance of community and connection, giving back through volunteerism and embracing our culture and our roots while showing kindness and love to all that we come across. Yolotli Counseling is a mental health practice providing high quality telehealth treatment to 20-45 year old young professionals within the BIPOC and Latinx communities, specifically those that are first generation higher education students or graduates and children of immigrants. Yolotli Counseling specializes in treating stress and anxiety, mild to moderate depression, codependency (dependent relationship dynamics), phase of life, and professional burnout/compassion fatigue. I help first generation college students/graduates that are children of immigrants struggling with anxiety, depression, and codependence (dependent relationship dynamics) lead guilt free and authentic/balanced wholehearted lives.
