I have been working in the social work field since 2001. I enjoy meeting and working with people from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences. I feel great privilege anytime someone chooses to consult with me in exploring the problems they are facing. I believe that you are the expert of your own life and view therapy as a collaborative process that analyzes your strengths and struggles to make meaning of what you have been through. I have experience working with people living with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, addiction, sexual issues, and faith transitions. I also have skills and knowledge in working with military troops and their families. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mind-Body Bridging (MBB), Solution Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Gottman Method.
