Introduction

I’m a Biracial Black therapist aiding adult BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and Persons of Color) professionals struggling with fears, sadness, low self-esteem, unresolved emotional pain, & discouragement that has caused lack of confidence in who they are, low motivation, & hopelessness for their future - often leading to struggles with career-related tasks, feeling constantly unsettled in the workplace setting due to worrying & overthinking non-stop; or, their relationships with others become fractured, either from lashing out on loved ones or becoming avoidant of them. All of this despair prevents them from living the meaningful life they once had hopes dreams of experiencing. Abuse, neglect, discrimination, betrayal, terrible sights and accidents may have left you unsure of yourself and your place in this world – these have all caused hurts that leave wounds that just won’t seem to heal. You want the pain to go away, but it all feels like too much to even know where to begin, let alone if it’s even possible for you – after all, life’s been unkind to you enough to cause such discouraging doubts that you can enjoy and look forward to living life again. But in the depths of your despair, there is some hopeful news: help is available, your voice is worth being heard, and it is possible to live a meaningful, self-controlled life, even in the midst of life’s sufferings and discourgements In my telehealth sessions, I offer a space to hear the story of what brought you to a place of out-of-control despair, process your painful experiences using evidenced-based therapeutic methods, and guide you to seeing how it’s possible to live a value-centered, self-accepting, and hopeful life despite the pains of the past, present and future. My website has way more in-depth information on my practice and the services I offer, and how I strongly believe I can help you – as well as to connect with me so we can get to know each other through by scheduling a free 15-minutes phone consultation, to see if I may be a good fit for your needs: https://www.brianagonzalezlcsw.com/ I look forward to helping you on your journey!
