I’ve worked in the mental health field for over 11 years, serving the community in a variety of roles and settings. Helping others has always been a core part of who I am, but it wasn’t until I was introduced to the world of mental health that I truly discovered the depth and impact this work could have. In my practice, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is the central treatment approach I rely on to help clients manage and improve their emotional well-being. I use CBT to guide clients in recognizing how their negative thought patterns, or cognitive distortions, directly impact their moods, behaviors, and decision-making. With the focus of encouraging collaboration, providing education and skill building strategies to assist with navigating life’s challenges more effectively and with greater emotional resilience.
