Brianna Barnes is an Associate Clinical Social Worker under the supervision of Leah Niehaus, LCSW. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work with a minor in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach, and went on to complete her Master’s in Social Work at the University of Southern California. Brianna believes therapy is a collaborative journey and prioritizes meeting her clients where they are at. She views therapy as a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experience with zero judgment. Before joining Leah’s practice, Brianna provided counseling services to children at a South Bay elementary school, supporting their emotional and social well-being. She also worked in bereavement services, facilitating over 15 support groups for individuals navigating the loss of a spouse, child, or parent, in addition to providing individual grief counseling.
