Introduction

I know for many people therapy is a last resort before making significant life changes. I will work with you from day one to set therapeutic goals, and work toward them. I pride myself on maintaining a great therapeutic relationship with my clients full of trust and honesty. My clients know if I say something, it's because they need to hear it. I am currently a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and maintain a private practice in Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition to private practice, I provide psychological evaluations and letters for immigration hardship (Waivers, Pardons, U-Visa, VAWA.) I am a public speaker, and have presented on a variety of topics at different businesses and events. I have served as an educator and program director for the C.O.P.E. seminar which educates parents about the effects divorce has on children. ​ My life has afforded me great experiences that enhance my practice far beyond my formal education. I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a step-daughter, a friend, and a member of a large extended family. I am bi-racial (Latina/Caucasian), involved in an inter-racial marriage, and raising a multi-racial child. I understand the impact race and culture have on people, relationships, and society as a whole. I see individuals, families, and couples. I have completed the Level 3 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and use Gottman Method Couples Therapy in my work. I am also an AAMFT Approved Supervisor.
