As a trauma and sex therapist, I am interested in helping clients reconnect to themselves. Experiencing trauma can make the mind and body feel like unsafe places to exist; as a result, many survivors work hard to leave their bodies by numbing and isolating. Through gentle exploration and curiosity, I hope to create a space where clients can practice new modes of relating to themselves and others after trauma. I am a certified prolonged exposure therapist, which can be a useful modality for PTSD. My approach as a therapist is direct, creative, and collaborative. I believe that warmth and humor are important parts of how I show up authentically in the therapeutic space. My specialities include: -Queer and trans identity development -Interpersonal trauma -Sexual pain, shame, and kinks -Disability and chronic illness -Community violence I offer in-person and virtual appointments and see individuals 16 and older.
