Brittani graduated from Fordham University with a Master's in Social Work in 2012. From there, she gained experience working with children and adolescents in crisis, as an Emergency Mobile Psychiatric (Services) Clinician (EMPS). She then worked for the State of Connecticut for over 10 years and dealt with children and families dealing with divorces, custody, separation, reconciliation, domestic violence, and other relationship issues. She has also been a counselor for Type 1 Diabetics for over 15 years and is a Certified Professional with the American Diabetes Association. In addition,She is certified as a Divorce Mediator as well as a Guardian Ad Litem (GAL). Brittani's educational background includes various trainings such as mindfulness techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), social work and law, domestic violence with victims and defendants, and is Level 1 Gottman Method trained.
