In 2018 I obtained my Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology at Texas A&M University – Kingsville and since then have worked with a variety of client populations including those struggling with addiction, homelessness, inpatient/crisis, families, couples, individuals, groups, veterans, and children/teens. I tend to approach therapy in an eclectic way. By pulling theories, research, and therapeutic interventions from a variety of theories and treatment modalities I am able to create a counseling experience that is tailored to the needs of my clients rather than attempt to force them to fit into a rigid treatment program that may not be the best fit. My foundation is rooted in person-centered, strengths-based, and Trauma-Informed Care practices, and I also like to utilize aspects of Reality Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Positive Psychology, Narrative Therapy, Existential Therapy, Mindfulness, and more!
