Introduction
Hi, my name is Brittney and I am a LPC-Associate in Texas, under supervision of Allison Besio, LPC-S. Over the past 9 years, I have worked in education and school counseling with children ages 4-14. During this time, I learned and applied a variety of therapeutic approaches and continued to broaden my overall knowledge of the counseling profession. Additionally, I believe in the healing power of animals; Equine Assisted Therapy will be offered for local in person sessions. In my practice, I hope to help clients of all backgrounds and ages understand their well-being and learn to manage the struggles the world sends their way. This approach utilizes the company of horses to work through emotions and areas of mental challenges with ground work (not riding). My services will be offered across two different platforms; virtual for those that prefer it or in person with the approach of equine therapy. I understand every client requires their own unique therapeutic experience and, with this, I strive to assist in each clients' mindfulness and healing. I do offer a sliding scale, but client availability for these spots are limited.
