Brooke graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies from Louisiana State University and then received a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University New Orleans. Brooke is a compassionate, empathetic, competent, strengths-based counselor dedicated to providing exceptional care for children, adolescents, and young adults. She assists individuals through life’s trials and tribulations. Brooke integrates a Person-Centered therapeutic approach, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness-Based (MBCT) skills and interventions to best adhere to her client’s needs. Her work is structured-focused and goal-oriented, allowing individuals to explore their presenting concerns. Her warm and open demeanor naturally offers the space for a personal connection with others. Brooke's clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, college students, and young adults. She sees clients from all religious, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. Her areas of focus include but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, chronic illness, career counseling, life transition/adjustment, grief/loss, eating disorders, therapeutic play, parenting, social/relational concerns, and any personal/school/work-related issues. Brooke is focused on walking the path of healing with individuals, children, teens, and families to facilitate the opportunity for healthier relationships with oneself and others. She provides therapeutic care for individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, poor self-esteem, peer conflict, life transitions, familial concerns, and other life stressors. In her work with clients, she offers healthy therapeutic strategies to provide mindfulness techniques and individualized skills to help clients find balance and well-being in life.
