Hi, I'm Buki. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 5+ years of experience working with teenage and adult clients from diverse backgrounds. Have you heard the saying, "With every hardship, comes ease?" Hardship is part of the human experience, but ease can come in the form of a professional to guide and support you. I help clients struggling with maternal mental health issues, pregnancy/fertility issues, parenting, depression, anxiety, trauma, career or school-related issues, stress or grief. Healing is possible with the right tools and support and we can accomplish that. My goal is to help my clients heal by feeling empowered, having the tools to cope with life’s challenges and achieving mental wellbeing and overall wellness. My holistic approach incorporates interventions from multiple modalities: Multicultural Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Informed, Emotion-Focused, Solution-Focused, and more. I have experienced many of life's challenges like many of you and have benefitted from therapy myself. That's how I am able to connect with my clients and provide a unique perspective on coping with mental health struggles. I can provide an objective viewpoint and offer you support and feedback within a safe, supportive and understanding environment.
