Introduction

Hello and welcome to Peace and Purpose Psychotherapy. My name is Callee and I am the founder of this space. I'm a Utah native and have always felt a strong connection to the field of mental health. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2013 and a Master's of Social Work degree in 2018. I have worked for various community mental health agencies and an inpatient psychiatric facility working with adults suffering from addiction, psychosis, depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD and suicidal ideation. I strive to create an environment where individuals, couples and families feel supported and heard. My passion is working with those who are looking to explore the challenging interaction cycles that get in the way of feeling safe and connected. I have a gentle approach to building relationships. I am someone who's open to feedback and learning about your unique perspective on the world. My approach to therapy is integrative and flexible. I specialize in EMDR, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, acceptance and commitment, developmental, interpersonal therapies….and even a little humor. I have completed levels 1 and 2 of the Gottman Method for couple's therapy, an evidence based treatment for relationship improvement. I have a deep appreciation for the human experience and I value diversity. I am honored to work with folks of any gender expression, sexual orientation, relationship model, race, culture, religion, age, size, and differing ability.
