"The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all." - Mulan (1998) To help my clients navigate their own unique adversity, I integrate my 10+ years of professional experience in education with the therapeutic knowledge I am continuously acquiring. As a queer-identified clinician, I am particularly devoted to serving the LGBTQ+ community through affirmation and support, and I welcome those interested in or currently practicing non-traditional relationship structures (e.g. ENM, polyamory, open, kink etc.). I also specialize in the treatment of trauma-related symptoms, including PTSD, depression, anxiety, and hoarding disorder. I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and also pull from a variety of other therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Narrative Therapy. In the near future, I hope to be certified in EMDR and engage clients in other somatic-based processing.
