I’m Caresse, an MSW intern at Rise Counseling Group, where I am dedicated to providing holistic and client-centered care. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati and am pursuing my Master’s in Social Work at Wright State University. My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that true well-being includes each person’s physical, emotional, mental, and social aspects. My passion lies in supporting and empowering individuals within our community, particularly Black women, women of color, and teen girls. I am committed to honoring and respecting the unique experiences of every client, working collaboratively to build resilience, develop healthy coping strategies, and achieve personal goals. At Rise Counseling Group, I aim to create a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their life experiences in a positive, non-judgmental space. I aim to promote a therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and mutual understanding. To me, therapy is a collaborative journey where transparency, vulnerability, and compassion guide the way to effective and meaningful work. I understand that reaching out for support can be difficult, but it is the first step toward personal growth and healing. I am here to walk alongside my clients on this powerful path, offering the guidance and support needed to empower them on their journey. Starting September 3rd, I will see clients in the office on Tuesdays from 4 to 8 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Sundays from 12 to 5 p.m. I am under the supervision of De’Asia L. Thompson, LISW-S/LCSW. I look forward to working with you.
