About Me After a series of life-changing events, I chose to follow my true calling and made a major career shift. At 42, I earned my Master’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno—proof that it’s never too late to go after your dreams. I was raised in the vast, open desert of Nevada and now live among the the trees in the mountains of California. I love both landscapes deeply, and I’m proud to be licensed to practice in both states. In my free time, you’ll most likely find me in the woods—gardening, building furniture from freshly milled trees, or tackling wild DIY home improvement projects with my partner. I’m also a proud mother of three incredible children: two grown and one still in elementary school. My community is a huge part of my life, and I’ve been fortunate to form deep, meaningful connections with the people around me. My journey has been anything but linear—more like a rollercoaster. I’ve weathered the drops, grown through the twists and turns, and climbed higher than I ever imagined. That lived experience is part of what fuels my passion for helping others on their own journeys. Together, we’ll face the loops, find clarity in the chaos, break free from limiting beliefs, and work toward becoming your most authentic self. My Style Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. You are unique, and your path to healing should be too. I take a collaborative, individualized approach—we’ll explore your options together and decide what feels right for you. That might look like re-authoring your life story to find deeper meaning, mindfulness practices, inner-child work, exploring consciousness, or psychoeducation. I may offer exercises to try between sessions—or not—it all depends on your learning style and preferences. I hold certifications in Brainspotting, EMDR, CBT, and I’m on the brink of becoming an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider. I’m a lifelong learner who’s constantly diving into new methods and training to better serve my clients. Regardless of the modality we choose, my approach is always solution-focused. My goal is to help you reach your goals. What It’s Like to Work With Me I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to make sure we’re a good fit before we begin. This is your time to ask questions and get a feel for how I work. Our initial sessions will focus on getting to know you—your history, your hopes, your challenges—and creating a roadmap for your healing journey. Once we’ve established trust and direction, we dig in. Every session is designed to leave you with something practical to carry into your week—whether it's insight, a new tool, or a shift in perspective. Together, we’ll work toward healing, cultivating acceptance for what can’t be changed, and building the courage to embrace your future.
